On Tuesday, 13th June 2023, the Supreme Court noted that the $11m (about sh41b) credit facility that was extended to Ham Enterprises Ltd, was legal. Ham later remitted the money to Kiggs International Uganda Ltd. The two companies are owned by businessman Hamis Kiggundu.
