Pheonah Nankunda

Pheonah Nankunda is a Senior Associate in the firm's Transactions and Advisory department and a leading member of K&K's banking and finance practice. She holds a Master of Laws in International Banking and Finance Law from University College London and brings specialist expertise in banking and finance, securitisation, structured finance, project finance, concessions, and public-private partnerships.

Banking, Finance & Structured Transactions

Pheonah has extensive experience advising domestic and international clients on a broad spectrum of financing transactions. Her practice encompasses the structuring and documentation of complex loan facilities, syndicated lending, asset finance, and real estate finance. She has particular strength in securitisation and structured finance, advising on multi-party transactions involving the transfer, perfection, and enforcement of security interests across several sectors.

Energy, Infrastructure & Project Finance

Pheonah has advised on the development, financing, and procurement of large-scale projects in the energy, transport, aviation, and industrial sectors. She has acted as counsel on concession agreements and public-private partnership arrangements, working with government entities, private sponsors, and lenders on the structuring of project contracts and the negotiation of key commercial terms.

Corporate & Advisory

Pheonah heads the Corporate Desk at the firm, advising on company formation and reorganisation, corporate governance, licensing, compliance, and corporate finance. She has served on due diligence and transaction teams across major cross-border transactions. Her broader practice includes Intellectual Property, Property Law and Conveyancing, and Private Equity.
