Rita Owach is a Legal Assistant at K&K Advocates and an active member of the firm's Transactions and Advisory department, having joined upon completion of her postgraduate clerkship at the firm. Her practice concentrates on banking and finance, property law, and corporate advisory, and she is noted for her rigour in security documentation and her developing capability across the transactional spectrum.
Rita has developed hands-on experience managing security interests for major lenders in both financing and refinancing transactions. Her exposure spans individual and corporate clients across a broad range of credit facilities, and she has contributed to high-value mandates with a substantial transaction values.
Rita advises clients on corporate governance and regulatory compliance, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, and advising on compliance issues arising from business transactions and operations. She has provided advisory services on incorporation matters to companies and non-governmental organisations, and has assisted with contract management and compliance advisory for public and private sector clients.
Rita handles property law and conveyancing work for the firm, processing land transactions on behalf of individual and corporate clients. She has also advised on intellectual property matters, including trademark registration and IP due diligence for domestic and foreign applicants.
