Stanley regularly advises on matters at the intersection of technology, regulation, and commercial activity. He has been involved in telecommunications transactions and regulatory engagements within Uganda's communications sector, supporting major telecommunications operators as well as the industry regulator. His work navigates regulatory frameworks, addresses compliance obligations, and tackles legal issues arising from digital innovation, media, and communications infrastructure.
Stanley is an active member of the firm's litigation team and has participated in a wide range of high-value and complex disputes. He has represented financial institutions, regulators, state corporations, and multinational entities in matters concerning banking and financial services regulation, the use of technology and digital platforms, construction law, large-scale real estate transactions, and intellectual property protection.
Stanley combines advisory and contentious work, enabling him to assist clients in structuring transactions and navigating regulatory environments, as well as representing them when disputes arise. His advocacy is characterised by thorough preparation, a disciplined work ethic, and a steady approach to managing complex litigation.
Outside the office, Stanley is a passionate football fan, a Scrabble player, and a gamer.
